Is This BDO Info Still Live? A Four-Check Sanity Test

A system rule, Central Market row, event date, class change, boss schedule, and account recommendation all age at different speeds.

An official guide can explain how a quest unlock works but not today's market. A live row can support a current price but not the rule behind that unlock. Match the source to the claim before you trust it.

Look for an explicit region and platform in both the question and the evidence. KR, console, Global Lab, and NA/EU do not always receive the same change at the same time.

Global Lab can preview what may be coming, but it is not a live NA/EU PC fact until the applicable regional release confirms it.

Use the publication date for patch claims and the observation time for live data. A fresh “updated” label means little if nobody rechecked the actual advice.

When sources disagree, compare scope and effective time—not just whichever date is newer. A later console notice does not automatically override an earlier NA/EU PC notice.

Open the source or live module for the exact number, restriction, or change driving the decision. A headline or search snippet is not enough.

If the source is unavailable, mark the detail unverified. For market, inventory, event, and account-state calls, the current client is the final check.

Discovery-only material can tell us what needs checking, but it does not become a confident fact by itself. If scope is missing or evidence is stale, Black Spirit should ask for context or give the safer answer.

Pause when a guide gives a precise, expensive answer but leaves out the context you need to test it.

• No region or platform on a schedule-sensitive answer.
• A preview or test-server post described as already live.
• A precise market, profit, or ranking number without an observation time.
• A best recommendation that ignores class, gear, mastery, goals, or available time.
• A recently changed date attached to otherwise unchanged advice.
• No direct source or verification path for the fact driving the decision.
